Choosing a doctor means entrusting your vision to their expertise and judgment. I am fully aware of the weight of this trust, which is why I always hold myself to the highest standards, providing each patient with the most appropriate personalized treatment.

Professional Certifications and Extensive Clinical Experience

My training was rooted in Taiwan’s leading medical centers, where I completed comprehensive clinical training at Mackay Memorial Hospital and further specialized in retinal and corneal diseases at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. My expertise spans from corneal transplants to vitrectomy. Under the guidance of Professor Reinstein, the pioneer of presbyopia laser correction in the UK, I brought cutting-edge techniques back to Taiwan and integrated them into clinical practice. Whether addressing nearsightedness, presbyopia, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, corneal disorders, or retinal diseases, I provide comprehensive and thorough care.

My patients include professionals with high visual demands, such as doctors, nurses, engineers, and flight attendants. Their trust fuels my drive to continually refine my skills and pursue excellence. I understand that every pair of eyes is invaluable, and I uphold the highest standards in every surgery to ensure patients achieve a clearer vision in the safest possible conditions.

Personalized Assessments for Tailored Treatment Plans

Vision correction surgery is not a “one-size-fits-all” solution. It should be tailored to each patient’s ocular condition and lifestyle needs. Procedures like refractive laser surgery, presbyopia correction, and cataract surgery have distinct indications, making preoperative evaluations critical. I assess factors such as corneal thickness, refractive errors, eye health, and occupational requirements to recommend the most suitable surgical options, ensuring long-term stability and optimal results.

My principle is simple: perform only the treatments that are truly necessary. Guided by evidence-based medicine, all surgical decisions are rooted in scientific data and clinical research. If a detailed evaluation reveals that a patient is not a suitable candidate for surgery, I provide honest feedback and alternative solutions rather than pushing for unnecessary procedures. During surgeries, I prioritize precision and safety, striving for rapid recovery and excellent visual outcomes. By leveraging big data analysis and research, I continuously optimize surgical processes to ensure not only clear postoperative vision but also long-term visual stability.

Compassionate Communication for a Reassuring Medical Experience

As a doctor, a woman, and a mother, I empathize with patients’ concerns about undergoing vision-changing procedures like refractive laser or cataract surgery. I firmly believe that professional medical care should offer not just technical expertise but also emotional reassurance. During consultations, I explain surgical methods, processes, and recovery in clear, simple terms, helping patients understand potential changes and risks so they can make informed and confident decisions.

I value open communication with my patients, listening carefully to their needs and providing treatment recommendations based on their lifestyles, work environments, and visual habits. For patients with high myopia, dry eye syndrome, or thinner corneas, I conduct additional assessments to ensure safety and efficacy. My goal is not just to help patients “ditch their glasses” but to provide a safe, comfortable, and lasting visual experience.

Precision and Care: Guiding You Toward a Clearer Future

Vision is essential to quality of life. Whether in the clinic or the operating room, I pay meticulous attention to every detail. With professionalism, integrity, and care, I patiently explain, actively listen, and accompany each patient on their journey to a clearer world.

If you have questions about refractive laser surgery, presbyopia correction, cataract surgery, or dry eye treatment, feel free to schedule a consultation. I will personally evaluate your condition and provide recommendations tailored to your needs.
